Meet the Owners

Alyssa Hernandez has worked in the healthcare field for over 14 years.

Alyssa worked diligently as a lab technician and saw firsthand the challenges and the gaps in healthcare services within their rural community and surrounding area. The lack of resources and the need for better healthcare were evident, so she decided to take action and start her own health and wellness facility.

Meet the Laboratory Director

Dr. Joseph Benson Jr, MD is an Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Specialist  and has over 39 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA / HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER in 1984.

What do I need for lab draws?

Insurance card with every visit;

ID card and ID

Lab Order from your physician

  • Bring order in person, have your physician electronically send to awsorders@outlook.com or fax to (775) 375-1066.

Patients with no primary care or insurance can come see us to get discounted prices on labs without a doctors order. 

What type of payments we accept.

We accept cash, debit/credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and most insurance companies.

Glucose Tolerance Testing 

for expecting mothers.

Skip the wait time at the hospital!

We offer GTT, just bring in your lab order from your OB. 

Measures the body's response to sugar, called glucose. The glucose tolerance test is done during pregnancy. The purpose of this test is to check for diabetes that develops during pregnancy. That condition is called gestational diabetes.
